C3 and C4 COOPERATIVE STUDY TRAVELS

Pupils who are invited to travel provide in return some overviews of the project support activities carried out in their school and/or they prepare content intended to allow the implementation of lessons or transnational practical work in the framework of the trip study.

SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024 (FIRST PEDAGOGIC PHASE)

C1 and C2 COOPERATIVE STUDY TRAVELS

FIRST GOALS according to the Project Reference:

A5.1 Transnational training in Türkiye (C1): the external border of Europe, investigation of the Mediterranean area: Mare Nostrum or limes.

A5.2 Transnational training in Latvia (C2): borders and cleavages within Europe (strategic issues).

C1 TURQUIE / TÜRKIYE WP2 SUR LES FRONTIÈRES ÉGÉENNES

MAIN TOPICS AND ACTIVITIES:

the external boundaries (of the EU)

AGENDA:

The first mobility consists essentially of cooperating to study the borders between "us" and "the others" through, in particular, the apprehension of migratory and touristic flows; it is also the first opportunity to meet "in person" the whole of the partners and therefore to overcome the stereotypes that invariably arise due to the segmentation of the world in states and nations.

C1 was implemented from the 4th to the 8th of March, 2024

GOALS / C1 TOPICS

frontiers and refugees (examples: crisis in Syria and the Middle East, conflicts in the Ancient Times or in the modern era...)

cultural frontiers: foreigners/aliens

in the context: local heritages and international tourism / sea and lands

festive exchanges (show of the local dances by each partner school, common ballet on Turkish music or song)

first video reports (a possible topic, a natural frontier: coastline)

FOR PROJECT HOLDERS : brainstorming on some financial aspects of the Quality Control WP1 and planning concerning the WP3

C1 / FIRST COLLABORATIVE WORKS

The drawing produced by the students will serve as a common coat of arms for the partners and will now appear on all official documents (correspondence, attendance certificates, media sites). The laurels recall the initial logo of the project, which remains in force for internal exchanges between project leaders and as a “brand” of the coordinator and the Be.Bo.P section on the Our European Office NBE+ site. The said laurels evoke the different empires and the status of borders, at their limits as well as within their vast territories, but they also allude to Greco-Roman civilization, studied by the target group in France, the country initiating the partnership. The rope relates to the naval specialization of the Turkish secondary school, organizer of the first exchange, and to the limit between the sea and the continent, natural but also political border, interface and dividing line. It also refers to the imagination of travel. The blades of the central windmill allude to ongoing transitions and feature the flags of the countries represented in the cooperation; they are arranged around a very “small planet”, a way of emphasizing that our world is faced with challenges that no nation can claim to meet alone. The twelve stars refer to the European Union, and more broadly to the need for solidarity and unity in order to support a transnational collaborative effort.

C2 LETTONIE / LATVIA WP2+WP4+WP5 SUR LES FRONTIÈRES BALTES

MAIN TOPICS AND ACTIVITIES:

European boundaries, strategic issues

AGENDA:

The second mobility consists essentially of cooperating to study the historical and cultural impact of the drawing of borders in Europe and the conflictualities linked to this question (today like yesterday); it is also the beginning of the cooperation in order to enhance video skills of learners and make them able in the future to write a documentary and produce it together, work in the framework of which the "rushes" from the ensemble of outing cooperative mobilities will be used.

C2 / TCA

The choregraphy created to perform a dance on the partnership's Hymn is a celebration of friendship and encounters. It will be reused in the future. Movies and interviews made by transnational teams specially constitued are cooperation models for the next mobilities and drafts for the video productions to be done in the progress of Be.Bo.P.
