La modélisation pédagogique de débats internationaux (réalisés dans le cadre d'instances informelles comme le G20 ou le G7 ou dans celui d'entités supranationales comme l'UE ou les Nations Unies) est une activité pédagogique récurrente, conduite par le lycée Ravel sous le nom d'un programme générique (MODEL PROJECTSdepuis 2019. Dans la période récente du programme ERASMUS+ (2021-2027) cette activité de simulation se décline au travers d'un partenariat simplifié dont l'association LIGUE ILARGIA est partie prenante. Des élèves et enseignants du Lycée Ravel seront invités à réaliser des mobilités et seront impliqués dans des ateliers d'appui locaux et/ou multilatéraux, en distanciel

Le partenariat simplifié SMUN est piloté par une école secondaire allemande (la "Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule") et est porté par quatre entités, dont la ligue internationale pour l'innovation et la coopération fait partie. Invités par la ligue ILARGIA, dans le cadre du dispositif pédagogique MODEL, quatre représentants du lycée Ravel sont conviés à une première simulation de débats imitant les conférences de l'ONU et consacrés à la protection environnementale : les 28 et 29 mars 2025 à Esslingen. Dix lycéen.ne.s luzien.ne.s seront attendu.e.s en Turquie à l'occasion de la seconde mobilité (prévue avant Noël).

The simplified partnership named SMUN (or MODEL for the Lycée Ravel's team)  is led by a German secondary school (the "Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule") and will be supported (in 2025) by four entities, including the ngo: ILARGIA League.  Four representatives from Lycée Ravel are invited to a first debate simulation on the theme of environmental protection on March 28 and 29, 2025. Teachers: Ms Roques, M Vanderplancke, and two students Mss Teresa M-B and Sophie S.


Selection Criteria according to the application form

For Students:

  1. Age Range: Students must be aged between 13 and 18 years.
  2. Interest in Environmental Issues: Demonstrated interest in environmental protection and sustainability through previous activities, coursework, or personal initiatives.
  3. Commitment to Participation: Willingness to actively engage in all project activities, including meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  4. Teamwork and Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate ideas and opinions.
  5. Diversity and Inclusivity: Efforts will be made to ensure a diverse group of students, including those from different backgrounds and with varying levels of experience.

For Teachers and NGO Members:

  1. Professional Experience: Relevant teaching experience or involvement in educational programs, particularly in environmental science or social sciences.
  2. Knowledge of Model UN: Familiarity with Model UN procedures and the ability to guide students through the simulation process.
  3. Commitment to Mentorship: Willingness to mentor and support students throughout the project, including attending training sessions and the MUN conference.
  4. Passion for Environmental Advocacy: Demonstrated commitment to environmental protection and education, with a history of involvement in related initiatives.
  5. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, NGO members, and students to achieve project goals.

P.S All participants including students who will attend transnational activities should have at least A2 level of English.

 


Local selection Criteria

FOR SMUN-1

>The two selected Students are: 

1. German-speaking students who wish to participate in SMUN-1 to discover the cultural heritage of Esslingen and Baden-Württemberg.
2. English-speaking students who are able to hold brilliant conversations and actively participate in debates.
3. Students who are also interested in environmental issues and the following topics: past and present functioning of the UN and international law in connection with the History program of the baccalaureate.
 
>The two teachers are:
 
People from the Ravel high school staff (members of the NGO at the same time)..
 

>and the third adult is the person responsible for implementation by the League.
